•6th grade (Language Arts/Social Studies)
This is my fifteenth year teaching at Mitchell Intermediate. I am in my eighth "Loop Group". Looping (being able to have the same students for 5th and 6th grade) is a wonderful experience. I am so thankful to work in a school and district that supports this educational model and that provides a child-centered education.
The 2014-15 school year provided me with the opportunity to see my fourth "Loop Group" of Mitchell Mustangs graduate from high school. Time flies when you're having fun. Congratulations Class of 2015!
Family
I've been blessed to be married to my best friend for twenty-seven years. My husband was an elementary PE teacher for ten years; the last seven were at Barbara Bush Elementary in The Woodlands, where he had the privilege of meeting Mrs. Barbara Bush and being the first Bush Elementary "Teacher of the Year." He was a children's pastor at Woodlands Church - Fellowship Campus for nine years and now serves as campus pastor for Woodlands Church Tomball.
We have been blessed with wonderful sons, a precious daughter-in-law, and now a treasured granddaughter.
All of my sons attended Barbara Bush Elementary and my oldest two were both Mitchell Mustangs before our family moved to Magnolia. This has allowed me to have both a teacher and parent perspective of Mitchell and helps me to know how well our students are prepared as they enter the next phase of their education.
I am thankful for the opportunity to serve your family.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Reitzel
